Hyd Veg Biryani


Ingredients For Hyd Vegitable Biryani:


  • Basmathi rice soaked 1 and 1/2 cup

  • Chopped Oninos 2 medium size

  • Chopped Carrots 1/2 inch pieces 2 medium

  • French beans 1/2 inch pieces 10 to 15

  • Cauliflower 10-15 florets

  • Soaked Green peas  1 cup

  • salt for taste

  • Green cardamon 9

  • Black cardamoms 2

  • Cloves 14

  • Cinnamon 1/2 inch small stick

  • Bay leaf 1 or 2

  • Caraway seeds half teaspoon

  • Ginger-garlic paste 1 1/2 tablespoon

  • Turmeric powder one teaspoon

  • Red chilli powder one tablespoon

  • Coriander powder one tablespoon

  • Fresh Yogurt 1/2 cup

  • Rose water 1/2 teaspoon(optional)

  • Saffron (kesar) for colour

  • Fresh tomato puree one cup

  • Garam masala powder one teaspoon

  • Fresh coriander leaves fne chopped 2 tablespoons

  • Fresh mint leaves finechopped 2 tablespoons

Cooking Method:


  • Boil rice in four cups of salted boiling water with whole garam masala.

  • half boil all veggies with little bit salt.

  • on the stove and pot hundy pot

  • add ghee and wait for few minutes add whole garam masala

  • add ginger garlic paste and fry until it's raw smell gone.

  • add chopped oninos fry trasnperent and add chills,

  • add half boiled veggies with yougurt.

  • fry all veggies and add turmeric,garam masala and dhaniya powder

  • now take another pan add half boiled rice in one layer and add fried veggies as another layer and brown onion as another layer

  • close the lid with aluminium spoil cook in steam for 10 minutes

  • finnaly garnished with coriender and mint
